Design Device Point Map

This tutorial is aimed at users who need to determine the deployment location and quantity of beacons and gateways in the scene before project implementation and deployment. Through this tutorial, users will master the deployment rules of beacons and gateways in typical scenarios such as rooms and corridors, thereby determining the quantity and location of deployment, i.e., the equipment layout diagram.

Deployment Rules

For 2D positioning, 4 beacons are needed, and for 1D positioning, 2 beacons are needed.

In a typical industrial environment, the deployment spacing for U1P is 50 meters, and for U1, it is 15 meters.

Under open conditions, the communication range of the G1P gateway is 100 meters.

UWB signals cannot penetrate metal or solid walls; when there are significant obstacles, additional beacons and gateways are required to fill the blind spots.
