Common Functions

This tutorial outlines the usage methods for common system functions. Through this tutorial, users can master the usage methods for common functions such as tag parameter configuration, data recording and export, and device firmware upgrades.

Tag Parameter Configuration

Click on the tag icon on the map to open the tag pop-up window, click on Settings to open the tag parameters, click Edit to modify, and after the modification is completed, click Save to complete the parameter configuration.

Tag Mode Configuration

Enter the device management interface, click on Batch Process Device Parameters, select the tags you want to change, and choose the tag output method. You can configure it for serial port output, UWB return (returned to the gateway), and I2C output. Note that if all three methods are turned off, the tag can only be returned to the factory for processing.

Tag Data Recording and Exportation

Click on the tag icon to open the tag pop-up window, click on 'More', select 'Time', and you can start recording tag data. Once the recording is completed, the data will be automatically exported.

Firmware Update

Enter the device management interface, click on 'Firmware Update', select the device that needs to be updated, choose the firmware version, and click 'Update'.

Please note that firmware updates require an internet connection on the computer.

Gateways only support wired updates.

Beacon updates must be issued through the gateway, ensuring that the gateway is online and communication with the beacon is normal.

Tag updates can be done directly via the serial port or wirelessly through the gateway.
